Rinse and dry all pieces thoroughly before reinstalling.Cap cleaning: under running water, use a finger to gently lift the gaskets around the pressure valve, rinsing away any built up grime.Submerge all parts (cap, straw, gasket) in warm, soapy water for up to 2 hours.Disassemble straw and gasket(s) as mentioned above.The flat side of the gasket goes against the cap, blades out, larger blade on top. Look closely at the gasket, you’ll notice there are two “blades,” one stands out farther than the other. Re-Install: ensure all parts are dry before reinstalling and storing.
